It is exciting for me to see each of you making sure your color selections are harmonious and in the spectrum you desire. This means you are part of a very small percentage of the population that feels harmony is important in their life.
I have been glued to the system for over 50 years. I would be lost without it.
It is part of my daily life as much as brushing my teeth. In the early 70's, I went to a lecture in Los Angeles and heard a person, Robert Dorr, speak about color. I had never heard of him before. I was fascinated! When he said it had been proven scientifically with 100 percent accuracy, I flipped. Nothing is 100 percent I said to myself, and it was then, I was hooked. The rest is history. I never stopped studying and learning more.
I just cannot accept anything in my life that creates discord. The color system is such a part of me. I cringe when I am near the wrong colors for me. I am a yellow base person. My physical well-being is at stake.
This December, I wanted to get a robe that was warm and helped me feel cozy in the cold weather. Yes, it gets cold in Las Vegas, where I live. I went to Amazon, and carefully found the perfect robe and went through the colors. I settled on the Navy Blue. I have blue eyes, and I thought that would be great. You guessed it. It came Blue-based Navy! I was thinking I could wear it. It was just a robe, and no one would really see me in it. Just my faithful dog Nala and me. No one would care. I wore it once. I was miserable for about 10 minutes and I took it off, and I actually gave it away to a BB person. They loved it.
I just wanted to share this because as you build your relationship and knowledge of the BB/YB color system and your own personal coloring, you will find a peace and harmony that gives you great comfort and joy. Surround yourself with you.
It is a way of living that will influence and affect you throughout your life.
“When I was almost dying, there were two things I learned, I did not want to lose time, and I wanted to get to the truth as soon as possible." - Christopher Reeves
You have found the truth. Cherish it and use it in the New Year to make your life the best it can possibly be!
Happy Colorful New Year!
Love, Renae Knapp
